About the Project

The aim of this project is to create a dialogue about LGBTQ issues. Both those who identify as LGBTQ and those who do not are invited to contribute photography, writing, or visual art answering the prompt:

"What does it mean to identify as LGBTQ?"

The work may be submitted anonymously or you may provide identifying information. The work submitted to this website will be part of an exhibition that will also include work created by members of the community in Tallahassee, Florida. Please consider contributing to this project and remember- NO PRIOR ART EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!

About Me

My name is Grace Chartier. I am a second year student in the Florida State University Art Therapy Master's program and will graduate this August (2016). As a prerequisite to graduation, I must create a culminating project; I chose to create Voices because of my passion for LGBTQ issues.

I can be reached at gracejchartier@gmail.com if you have any questions.
